Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I ordered a pizza Stromboli and fried pickles. The Stromboli was very greasy, but that's pretty much expected from this kind of food, although it reminded me more of a calzone. It was good. Just wish I didn't HAVE to add two toppings. Don't know whether that's a grub hub thing or the actual restaraunts requirements. The fried pickles were great! I'm used to fried pickle chips everywhere I've ever ate them, but these were actual pickle spears so that was different but I like. The sauce they sent with them did not tickle my fancy though. I ordered from here via grub hub so I can't really speak on the customer service of this place but the delivery guy was very nice.

My husband and I LOVE their wings, however, our most recent experience may cause us to order elsewhere in the future. We placed an order through grub hub with them, which apparently didn't go through. No problem, not their fault. So I called an hour and a half after placing the order, to check on the status of it. The woman who answered the phone and asked for my address said it was on its way. Ok, fair enough. 30 minutes later, still no food. So I called again. They had never received the order. Why tell me the food is on the way when you don't even have the order?! Just be honest. The gentleman who answered the phone the second time was helpful, in their defense.

By far my favorite sub shop! But they don't only have subs and pizza, they literally have everything. You name it, they have it. The staff is always so polite and they have great hours, food is always amazing no matter what I get, and it's close to home!

Customer service is awful. Huge slice of pizza very bland. Worst part were the 3 young kids running around, guessing they were kids of either the owners or workers there. Kids were playing with nasty putty throwing it on the floor and picking it up then putting it on the top of soda bottles that customers would buy. Kids behind counter touching everything, very unsanitary. Just nasty. Flies all over the place.

I had the jumbo 18 inch slice of pizza with pepperoni & it was really good. The Service was good & I would recommend anyone to try Champs. I would go back again & try something else. I give it a 5 star rating because the service was great & have really good food.

I ordered delivery from here twice... and had great experiences both times. Pros: Fast delivery, tons of wing flavors, big wings, cooked just right, overflowing subs. The stromboli I ordered today was 11" in diameter...and delicious. They will deliver anything from their convenience store for you. Con: I cannot think of any. To all the reviews who said they didnt have good customer service: It's a pick up and go type of place... you're going there because the food is good, not because you want to chat with a waitress while he pours you wine. I go there because the service is quick, they get my order right, and it tastes great! The guy who brought my food today was really friendly, too!

I eat from here all the time and never really been disappointed really good pizza and fries. Always happy with them. Pricing is....ok not to expensive but not to cheap either if you order a large pizza and fries it Should run you up to $20 dollars that is after delivery and a tip.

Amazing food! Best wings in town, hands down (order them at least once a week)! The food is always extremely fresh and the delivery time is fairly fast as well! They'll even deliver some of the household items that they sell in the shop. Also, I've tried numerous things from here; wings, pizza, subs, salads, wraps and I have never been disappointed! Keep it up with the great food guys!

Ordered a shrimp platter for delivery to my hotel. About half the shrimps had that nasty black line down the back! For anyone who doesn't know, that black line is a poop-filled intestine. That's why it's removed & rinsed before cooking! So I ate a bunch of shrimp poop for dinner. I called the manager, and he didn't seem to care. He said the shrimp come frozen from the supplier, so I'd have to talk to the owner about it. Gross & disgusting. Never again.

I've been dying for some good local pizza and was referred to Champs by a friend. I completed my pizza order for delivery at 4:45. At 5:20 I called to find out where my order was. I'm 2.4 miles away. The FIRST time I called the kid that answered the phone hung up on me after I said hello. When I called back the kid that answered the phone didn't ask my name or phone number but said my pizza left 15 minutes ago and very rudely told me to "relax it will be there". Since he was rude I asked for his name (Max) and then he said "you wanna talk to my manager" before I responded someone else was on the phone who identified himself as the manager. The entire time I'm trying to find out what time my delivery would get to me he is barking at the employees to "hurry up" "take that order" and "answer the phone" and interrupting me, not letting me get a complete sentence out of my mouth. When I asked his name he got agitated and finally told me his name - Sonny. The "manager" then told me that I should not order through Yelp because it takes much longer. I told him if my order left 15 minutes ago it should be here by now since I only live 2 miles away. Then he backtracked and said my order left 9 minutes ago with another order that was "right next door" and my order would arrive any minute. My pizza finally came at 5:46. The delivery person was even rude - I opened my door looked right at him and said hello to him twice and he never acknowledged I spoke to him. He presented me with a credit card slip, but didn't have a pen. I told him I had one and started to close the door to go get it and he tried to push the door open and step inside (uninvited). The Pizza was ice-cold. After I warmed it up, I was unimpressed - nothing to write home about. Had it been the best pizza I'd ever eaten, the complete lack of professionalism and customer service by the staff would have overshadowed that. Won't order from them again or recommend to anyone.

Always decent food. Time foe delivery. Is kinda slow. But otherwise food pretty decent. Their delivery area is pretty good as well. About 4 miles. Give them a try

The most disgusting sub I have ever tasted! The onion rings were great... but the sub! I got a chicken salad sub and the mayo was RANCID. I gagged and spit it back out and had to throw out the entire sub. I was so mad because I ordered delivery so I ended up paying almost $17 total for the sub and onion rings, tip, and delivery for some disgusting possibly poisonous food that I had to trash!
(1)Roger Y.
Wasnt the worst sub ever, or the worst fries... It was however the worst cheesecake I have ever tasted. I thought my cheesecake was going to bite me back. I think I heard it growl at me. It leapt off my fork, slid around our home and ducked under my couch at one point.
(2)Shannon G.
Everything is unnecessarily greasy, not in a good way. Ever had floppy toast? Me neither, til I got it from here. The grease is indescribable. I felt like I needed to hawk a loogie after evey bit of omelette.

I order from Champs at least twice a month, usually on Tuesday for their 50 cent wing days. Actually, to be fair, most of the time all I order from Champs is wings, and for two reasons: one- they make their wings fresh, and two- they have a ton of wing flavors to choose from. Definitely worth a try, and when you can get 40 wings for 20 bucks, you can afford to split up them into 4 sets of 10 of all different flavors. I have done this multiple times. The wings refrigerate really well for leftovers, too. I should also probably add that some of the flavors are really hot, but that's okay because Champs also delivers milk by the half gallon. I mean, who does that? Delivers milk, I mean?! Wonderful. I have, indeed, tried other things as well. The Jalapeno cheddar poppers are decent, and the subs are usually very big and filling. Two big concerns are the credit card fee and the delivery charge, which seem a bit much...most delivery places simply have a minimum. The two together add up to about 5 bucks, so it actually pays to pay in cash.

The Worst Customer Service I've ever seen At best, they rush you when taking your order; at worst, they are flat out rude beyond reasoning. We've ordered from them a handful of times based on their close location and convenience. Their food is the same mediocre quick delivery subs and pizza you can get at a dozen other places. This last time, the person on the phone basically snapped at my wife when she ordered. We will never order from them again. This wasn't a one time thing. They have consistently been rude and irritable every time we have called. I'll wait another 10 to 15 minutes for someone else to deliver my food from now on.

So, Champs is a quarter mile from our house, and it's a pretty good go-to spot when I'm either feeling really lazy and don't want to cook, or really lazy and don't feel like driving far for dinner. I've had several pizza varieties, including the five cheese which has been my favorite so far. (only, ask them to go light on the parmesean-- it makes the pizza a bit gritty). I've also had cheesesteaks, subs, pasta, and wings. I'm not a wing fan, but my husband says they're pretty good, so that's good enough for me! I love that they'll deliver the craziest things like a pint of Ben & Jerry's. Seriously, how awesome is that?!

I love Champs, we've been getting pizza & subs from them for years. I absolutely love their subs, the in store deli, & how they will deliver anything from the deli too. Delivery service is sometimes a little slow but It's okay cause It's worth it.

This review is just for the subs and customer service; no experience with the pizza, or anything hot, for that matter. I found this place on Yelp and was sold on it by Greg N's positive review. I called ahead to order a small sub and the girl on the phone wasn't very friendly, which gave me a little twinge of hesitation. But hey, I don't always like talking on the phone either, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I arrived to pick up my sub and told the girl my order. She tossed a paper bag down on the counter and walked away without so much as a "thanks," "bye," or even eye contact. OK, that's pretty rude, but maybe she was just having a bad night. At least the sub should be good, I thought. Is it even possible to screw up a cheese sub? Well, as it turns out, yes, it is. The sub used that gross orange American cheese, which probably came straight out of a Kraft Singles wrapper. The mayonnaise tasted...off, like it was not only the supermarket brand, but a couple days away from its expiration date. And the whole thing had a strange flavor of vinegar, even though I didn't order any. I hate wasting food, but between the two of us, my girlfriend and I got through about three bites before we gave up and threw the sub in the trash. On the plus side, we were grossed out enough by the sub that it effectively killed our appetite...so at least we weren't hungry any more. Maybe their hot food is better, and maybe their employees are sometimes friendlier, but I won't be trying Champs again to find out. I admittedly don't know much about Glen Burnie's available options for subs, but surely there are some places in town that can do better than this.

The pizza is nothing special. I have ordered from here twice, giving the benefit of the doubt and been disappointed both times. Not only with the less than friendly phone service, but I would have been better off buying a frozen store-brand pizza to eat. Call me old-fashioned, but I believe in being polite to your customers. Instead you get someone who sounds like they'd rather do anything else but take your order. One star for the food, and one for the service.

Pizza, pizza, pizza! They are everywhere. We are over populated with dough and cheese. You often wonder what makes them damn special. Why would any right minded person would open another pizza place and compete with another pizza place just across the street or within 2 mile radius? This is crazy-not-good. Champs is no way champion in pizza business. If you think pizza making is only or exclusively must be made by Italians?, oh no, you have mistaken it. There are 8 or more slices in a pie that how ever you want to slice it or how ever you want to make it, 12 inch?, 16, 18, 21, etc..., it's easy and fast business. Thus, the pizza business boom that anyone can have a slice of the pizza business. You can feed your family with a pie especially today that America is in recession. You might ask why I ever wonder in this neck of the woods? The store location is scary ghetto. Nevermind, I don't want to bore you with my exciting business. You wonder why Champs is so busy? Because this is the only pizza around that is cheap, easy, fast to eat. Yes, Champs pizza is cheap, not in price because a slice is $2.50 compare that to 7 Eleven $1. It comes to the fact that Champs pizza is cheap because of use of low quality ingredients, dirty store, uncaring staffs and customers. Pizza is just a pizza and lesson learned that you must do so choose the best out there, if you want your stomach to survive.

I go to champs pretty often. I live near them, so they're my go-to for subs and pizza. I have champs pretty much 2-3 times a month at least. I order the chicken cheese steak. Amazing. The people at champs can be friendly. 9 times out of 10 I don't have a problem with the people. They work fast and they work hard so of course their going to be quick and to the point. About their subs. They are not stingy when it comes to making their subs. The price is just right for a sub roll exploding with meat and juices from the toppings you add. A lot of times I eat the sub and then go back with a fork to get the excess meat that fell from being so stuffed. 10-10 on subs. I also get the seasoned fries. They are just right and on point. Not crusty and taste like a block. Not moist. Just right like they should be. By the time I'm done. I am satisfied. So I keep going back for more when I have a craving for subs. 1st name that pops in my head when I hear subs is CHAMPS.
